In June 2023, the city of Botucatu, 02 hours from the capital São Paulo, will host the 11th edition of the Brasil Ride Festival. With the participation of athletes from all over Brazil and from several countries around the world, the biggest mountain bike event in the country will be even bigger and more complete. 

From June 07th to 10th, competitors will travel approximately 156 kilometers through the Cuesta region, in an event that includes the whole family, at different technical and difficulty levels.

03 or 01 days of Mountain Bike, E-MTB, Tour Category and Kids Tour, will be together in an event for athletes, family, friends and the general public, for a unique experience.

In the Arena, interaction lounges, lectures, live shows, food court and exclusive experiences offered by the organization and our sponsors, join a new space for exhibitors, with the best of the Mountain Bike universe and much more. .

CANCELLATION POLICY / PARTIAL REFUND / TRANSFER

After the registration is completed, the event organization will not refund the registration fee to participants who give up participating under any circumstances. Only for orders within 7 days after online purchase. (according to Art. 49 of the Consumer Protection Code - Law 8078/90)

CANCELLATION

- The full refund for CANCELLATION, through direct validation by BRASIL RIDE, will respect article 49 of law 8.078 / 90 of the Consumer Protection Code:
- The consumer can withdraw from the contract, within 7 days of signing or receiving the product or service, whenever the contracting for the supply of products and services occurs outside the commercial establishment, especially by telephone or at home. .
- The convenience fee is non-refundable.

PARTIAL REFUNDS

- Cancellation of registration will be allowed, with a partial refund of 50% of the amount paid, solely and exclusively, due to injury, duly proven by medical certificate, and within 30 days after the date of confirmation of registration.

TRANSFER

- The transfer of the registration will be allowed, solely and exclusively due to an injury, duly confirmed by a medical certificate, within 60 days of the date of the test.
- In case of transferring the registration to another athlete, a 20% fine will be charged on the standard registration fee, respecting the deadline established above.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the event organization about the transfer to another athlete (br@brasilride.com.br).
- In case of transferring the registration to the next year's exam, a difference in the corresponding registration fees will be charged.
- If the athlete transfers his registration from one year to the next, he will no longer be able to request a partial refund.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the organization of the event regarding the transfer to the following year, informing the name and registration number. (br@brasilride.com.br).

- After registration ends, to make any changes, a fee of 50% of the paid registration fee will be charged.

- Minors under 18 years old must present authorization from the responsible person and deliver on the day of the kit removal.

FESTIVAL BRASIL RIDE REGULATION 2023

1. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1 ORGANIZATION: The organization is responsible for enforcing the provisions of this regulation, and justifying changes when appropriate.
The Organizer / Director may suspend the event for reasons of public security, public acts, vandalism and / or reasons of force majeure without prior notice to the participants.
1.2 ATHLETES: The registered competitor must accept the term of responsibility in the registration process and is in accordance with its regulations. You are aware that this competition is a risky sport. He attests that he is clinically fit and properly trained. You agree to observe any official race decision regarding the possibility of ending it safely. It assumes all risks in running the race, including those related to falls, contacts with other participants, assault, weather effects, including high heat and / or humidity, circuit and traffic conditions. Having listed this waiver of rights and knowing all these facts already mentioned, he accepts the registration and exempts the organizers, all their sponsors, supporters, their representatives or successors from all claims or responsibilities for any fact that puts him out of participation in the race. 2. ROUTE

2.1 The Brasil Ride - Warm Up Festival has 5 different events: WARM UP PRO (3 days), WARM UP Sport (1 day), E-MT (3 days), Tour (1 day) and kids tour.
2.2 The courses will be completely demarcated with marking on the ground (lime), tapes and indication plates and are not closed to local traffic, and the competitor must take the necessary precautions.
2.3 The course will be mixed on trails, trails, streets, dirt or asphalt roads, with natural obstacles such as ascents, descents and others that the athlete must overcome without external support.
2.4 It is the responsibility of the participant to follow the correct route for which he has signed up, the route will be available on our website and any changes to the route will be announced before the
start.
2.5 In each stage there will be a maximum time to cover the circuit, which will be informed on the day of the stage before the start, after this time the timing work and start of the race will be completed.

2.6 A scout motorcycle will accompany the general leader of the event, indicating the correct path when necessary.
2.7 A broom car will accompany the last placed.
2.8 For any reason and at any time, without prior notice, the organization may: postpone the race, change the route, modify or even cancel any stretch. You must then transmit the changes adopted to the competitors.
2.9 The prologue is the first stage of the PRO test.
2.10 The prologue will start in heats.
2.11 Each heat has a predetermined interval by the organization and will be communicated to the athletes one day before the start on the event's website/app.
2.12 If the athlete loses his heat, he will start at the last heat of the day.

3. ATHLETES

3.1 Regularly registered athletes of both sexes can participate.
3.2. The athlete's participation in the race is strictly individual and the aid of third parties is prohibited.

4. CATEGORIES
- The base date for calculating the categories is the complete age on 31/12/2023.
- If an age category does not have at least 3 competitors, these athletes will be relocated to the next age category.
- Minors under 18 years of age MUST present the authorization of the legal guardians for participation and the signed term of responsibility.

5. AWARDS
- Participation medal to everyone who completes the course in all categories (PRO | SPORT | E-MTB | TOUR | KIDS)
- Trophies from 1st to 5th place for all PRO categories | SPORT | E-MTB

5.1 If the athlete wants a third party to remove the trophy on his behalf, he must draw up a letter in his own handwriting, describing the name
complete, from him and from whom he will withdraw, the category and placement. The authorized person must bring the letter attached to both RG's copies.
5.2 Only the 1st place in the PRO ELITE MALE and PRO ELITE FEMALE categories will be able to climb the podium with their bikes.
5.3 Mandatory use of covered footwear
5.4 Any complaint about the final result of the competition must be made, in writing, within thirty minutes after the announcement of the results, upon payment of a fee of R$ 100,00 which
it will be reimbursed in the event of an error by the organization, and will be analyzed by a committee composed of the race director, athletes and parties involved.

6. PENALTY 

The following acts are subject to penalty, which may range from the addition of the athlete's test time to disqualification:

- Send incorrect data when filling out the application.

- Complete the registration form with false information.

- Subscribe to the non-corresponding category.

- Do not wear a helmet during the race. DISQUALIFICATION.

- Complete the race without the identification number (except for a fall).

- Perform maneuvers or unfair attitudes against other cyclists.

- Change your bike or cyclist. DISQUALIFICATION.

- Be accompanied by a support team throughout the race.

- Cut a path or do not go through a marked path.

- Hitch a ride during the race. DISQUALIFICATION.

- Disrupt the work of the organization before, during or after the race and in determining the results.

- Dirty the trails and paths and concentration areas.

- Disrespect any member of the organization.

- Omitted cases will be judged by the race organizing committee.

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the registered athlete to check their registration details (age and category entered) in the list published on the website before the start of the race. Incorrect data must be communicated to the organization in writing or email before the start, being subject to disqualification if it competes with incorrect data.


7. SUPPORT
During the course, there will be inspectors whose function is to guide participants on the route, offer support when necessary (if possible), and supervise the passage of participants. There will also be a water supply point (s) along the route, medical assistance during and at the end of the race for competitors.

NOTE: Support will be allowed for team cyclists at point(s) predetermined by the organization.

8. BICYCLES AND EQUIPMENT

 

8.1 Cyclists will be allowed to use only one bicycle to travel the route, regardless of type or model.
8.2 Bicycles will be moved exclusively by the athlete's individual strength in accordance with the regulations of the International Cycling Union. Except for the E-MTB CATEGORY.
8.3 The athlete will be able to proceed on foot, as long as his bicycle is present (loaded, dragged or pushed) by the athlete himself. An athlete separated from his bicycle will be prohibited from proceeding through the race.
8.4 The organization reserves the right to veto any equipment or accessories that it deems unsuitable for use at the event. All equipment that the athlete will use in the race may be checked by the
organization moments before the start, and have its use vetoed if it is considered inappropriate or risky to participate in the event.
8.5 Mandatory equipment: tight-fitting cycling helmet.
8.6 Prohibited equipment: The use of electric or assisted bicycles in the Warm Up PRO and Warm Up Sport categories will not be allowed. The E-MTB category was created to meet this characteristic.
8.7 There will be no refund, on the part of the organization, as well as its sponsors and supporters, of any amount corresponding to equipment and / or accessories used by the participants in the event, regardless of the reason, nor for any loss of materials or loss that by perhaps the athletes or participants will suffer while participating in this event.
8.8 The use of headphones, earphones (headphones) or any other type of sound device is not allowed during the competition.
8.9 E-MTBs are bikes operated with two sources of energy, human energy through the pedal and electric energy that provides assistance when the cyclist rides.
8.10 E-MTBs are electric bikes that must have assistance limited to 32 km/h.
8.11 Maximum engine power of e-bikes will be 570 Watts.
8.12 There will be no point for changing the battery during the stages and any change in this regard will not be allowed during the stage.
8.13 The distances of the e-bikes will be smaller than the others. In some stages, the starting and finishing point will be different from traditional bikes. The riders must manage their batteries in order to finish each of the stages with a single heat.
8.14 BIKE CONFERENCE
8.14.1 The E-MTBs must be taken to the conference, at least 1 hour before the start of the E-MTB heats. They can only be withdrawn 15 minutes before the start time of the heats.

8.14.2 The E-MTBs of the top five in each stage (male and female) must be checked immediately after crossing the finish line, and can only be removed after being checked by the organization.

9. CANCELLATION

9.1 The full refund for CANCELLATION, upon direct validation by BRASIL RIDE, will comply with article 49 of law 8.078/90 (CONSUMER DEFENSE CODE):
Art. 49. The consumer can withdraw from the contract, within 7 days of his signature or the act of receiving the product or service, whenever the contracting for the supply of products and services occurs outside the commercial establishment, especially by telephone or at home.

9.2 The convenience fee is non-refundable.

9.3 PARTIAL REFUND
Cancellation of registration will be allowed, with a partial refund of 50% of the amount paid, solely and exclusively, due to injury, duly proven by medical certificate, and within 30 days after the date of confirmation of registration.

9.4 TRANSFER
- The transfer of the registration will be allowed, solely and exclusively due to an injury, duly confirmed by a medical certificate, within 60 days of the date of the test.
- In case of transferring the registration to another athlete, a 20% fine will be charged on the standard registration fee, respecting the deadline established above.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the event organization about the transfer to another athlete (br@brasilride.com.br).
- In case of transferring the registration to the next year's exam, a difference in the corresponding registration fees will be charged.
- If the athlete transfers his registration from one year to the next, he will no longer be able to request a partial refund.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the organization of the event regarding the transfer to the following year, informing the name and registration number. (br@brasilride.com.br).

10. CLASSIFICATION AND FINISH LINE
10.1 The final classification of the Warm UP PRO E E-MTB is based on the sum of the time of the three days of the race.
10.2 The lowest accumulated time in the three stages will be the winner.
10.3 In the event of a tie, the shortest time in the prologue will be used to break the tie.
10.4 In case the athlete does not complete or does not start in one or more of the three stages, he will be penalized with a time of 24 hours for each stage that he has not completed.
10.5 The race time of each athlete will be finalized in a place before the finish gate (for reasons of traffic safety), but it will only be validated after the athlete crosses the finish gate (same place as the start). The athlete will have 20 MINUTES NEUTRALIZED to make this journey between the end of the timing and the finish gate. If the time is exceeded, the additional time will be added to the athlete's time.


11. CLIMATE CONDITIONS
The race can be postponed in case of bad weather (heavy rain, gale, others), or if it rains excessively on the week of the race, spoiling the circuit and harming the physical integrity of the participants. It is the participant's responsibility to see the information on our website/app the day before the test, if there is a change, the participant can use their registration for the new date or for the next step. The new date will be available within 30 days on our website/app.

12. HYDRATION AND MECHANICAL SUPPORT

12.1 Throughout the race there will be hydration stations with water.
12.2 No type of support vehicle will be allowed on the course, each athlete being responsible for taking their food, hydration and with their reserve chambers, pump and tool kit for any repairs.
12.3 In one of the hydration points, a basic mechanical support point will be available.
12.4 No external support (hydration or mechanical) will be allowed outside the hydration points, subject to disqualification.

13. SAFETY

13.1 The organization will make available to the participants of the event, an ambulance to provide first aid in case of accidents. If emergency medical care is required, removal will be carried out to the nearest public hospital.
13.2 The safety of the race will receive support from Organs competent bodies and there will be signs for the orientation of the participants, it is up to the athlete to respect the course, not being allowed to take shortcuts or make use of
any auxiliary means to achieve any kind of advantage. Failure to comply with this rule will cause the athlete to be disqualified.
13.3. The race will be restricted to vehicle traffic, not being completely closed, and the athlete must keep to the right of the track and obey the traffic laws, pay attention to other athletes and be
cordial whenever possible with your opponents, organization and audience.
13.4 We recommend that all participants in the race carry out a rigorous and complete medical evaluation prior to participation in the event.
13.5 When participating in this event, the athlete assumes responsibility for his data provided and fully accepts the Rules of the Event, participating freely and spontaneously, being knowledgeable
your health and assuming the costs of transportation, accommodation, food and insurance or any other expenses necessary or arising from your participation in the race, before, during and after the race.
13.6 The competitor is responsible for the decision to participate in the race, assessing his physical condition and performance and judging for himself whether or not to continue throughout the competition. Can the director of
evidence, according to the recommendation of the physician responsible for the event, to exclude the participant at any time.

14. DATA SHARING

14.1 I am aware that there will be the collection, storage and other necessary processing of my personal and sensitive personal data, as well as the sharing of these and my image with the organizer, sponsors and third parties for the fulfillment of the obligations arising from the Event, for the fulfillment of legal obligations and for the regular exercise of rights, during the term of this Event and thereafter, for the periods required by law and in accordance with the data retention rules. Furthermore, I am aware that sponsors may contact me by any means, including electronically, with commercial communications that may be of interest to me, as I am a participant in the Event.

15. IMAGE RIGHT

15.1 By participating in this event, each participant is unconditionally accepting and agreeing to have their image disclosed through photos, films, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet and television, or any other means of communication, for informational, promotional or advertising uses related to the proof, without incurring any burden on the organizers, sponsors or media.


16. FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS

16.1 The race organization as well as its sponsors and supporters are not responsible for losses or damages caused by the athlete registered in the race, to third parties or other participants, and their acts are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the same.
16.2 The accompaniment of athletes by coaches, advisors, friends with bicycles and other means will result in the disqualification of the participant.
16.3 The results will be calculated solely and exclusively by means of CHIP coupled to the numeral plate. Timing data will not be accepted by means of a cyclocomputer, timing applications or any mechanism other than the CHIP provided by the event organization.
16.4 Doubts or omissions in this Regulation will be resolved by C
Organizing omission in a sovereign manner, with no appeal to these decisions.
