CANCELLATION POLICY / PARTIAL REFUND / TRANSFER

After the registration is completed, the event organization will not refund the registration fee to participants who give up participating under any circumstances. Only for orders within 7 days after online purchase. (according to Art. 49 of the Consumer Protection Code - Law 8078/90)

CANCELLATION

- The full refund for CANCELLATION, through direct validation by BRASIL RIDE, will respect article 49 of law 8.078 / 90 of the Consumer Protection Code:
- The consumer can withdraw from the contract, within 7 days of signing or receiving the product or service, whenever the contracting for the supply of products and services occurs outside the commercial establishment, especially by telephone or at home. .
- The convenience fee is non-refundable.

PARTIAL REFUNDS

- Cancellation of registration will be allowed, with a partial refund of 50% of the amount paid, solely and exclusively, due to injury, duly proven by medical certificate, and within 30 days after the date of confirmation of registration.

TRANSFER

- The transfer of the registration will be allowed, solely and exclusively due to an injury, duly confirmed by a medical certificate, within 60 days of the date of the test.
- In case of transferring the registration to another athlete, a 20% fine will be charged on the standard registration fee, respecting the deadline established above.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the event organization about the transfer to another athlete (br@brasilride.com.br).
- In case of transferring the registration to the next year's exam, a difference in the corresponding registration fees will be charged.
- If the athlete transfers his registration from one year to the next, he will no longer be able to request a partial refund.
- The participant holding the vacancy must inform the organization of the event regarding the transfer to the following year, informing the name and registration number. (br@brasilride.com.br).

- After registration ends, to make any changes, a fee of 50% of the paid registration fee will be charged.

1. OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1 ORGANIZATION: The organization is responsible for enforcing the provisions of this regulation, and justifying changes when appropriate.
The Organizer / Director may suspend the event for reasons of public security, public acts, vandalism and / or reasons of force majeure without prior notice to the participants.
1.2 ATHLETES: The registered competitor must accept the disclaimer in the registration process and comply with its regulations. Are you aware that this competition is a sport
of risk. It certifies that it is clinically in condition and properly trained. You agree to observe any official decision of the race regarding the possibility of finishing it safely. assume all
the risks of running the race, including those relating to falls, contacts with other participants, assault, weather effects, including high heat and/or humidity, circuit and traffic conditions. Having listed this waiver of rights and knowing all these facts already mentioned, accepts the registration and exempts the organizers, all their sponsors, supporters, their representatives or successors from all claims or liability for any fact that places outside the participation in the race. Grant the organization permission to use photos, films, recordings, etc. for disclosure that shows participation.

2. ROUTE

2.1 The courses will be fully demarcated with markings on the floor (lime), tapes and signposts and are not closed to local traffic, and the competitor must take the necessary precautions.
2.2 The course will be mixed made by trails, trails, streets, dirt roads or asphalt, with natural obstacles such as climbs, descents and others that the athlete must overcome without external support.
2.3 It is the participant's responsibility to follow the correct route in which he signed up, the route will be available on our website, through a spreadsheet, any change in the route will be announced before the start.
2.4 In each stage there will be a maximum time to go through the circuit, which will be informed on the day of the event before the start, after that time the timing work and the beginning of the counting of the results will be closed.
2.5 A scout motorcycle will accompany the general leader of the event, indicating the correct path when necessary.
2.6 A broom car will accompany the last placed.
2.7 For any reason and at any time, without prior notice, the organization may: postpone the race, change the route, modify or even cancel any stretch. You must then transmit the changes adopted to the competitors.

3. ATHLETES

3.1 Regularly registered athletes of both sexes can participate.
3.2. The athlete's participation in the race is strictly individual and the aid of third parties is prohibited.

4. CATEGORIES

- The base date for calculating the categories is the complete age on 31/12/2021.
- If an age category does not have at least 3 competitors, these athletes will be relocated to the next age category.
- Minors under 18 years of age MUST present the authorization of the legal guardians for participation and the signed term of responsibility.

5. AWARDS

- Medal of participation to all who complete the course.
- Medal for the top 3 in each category.

5.1 The athlete who ranks among the top three in his category and finishes the race after 16:00 pm, must withdraw the
your trophy during the awards.
5.2 If the athlete wishes to have a third party withdraw the trophy in his name, he must draw up a letter in his own hand, describing his and who will withdraw his full name, category and placement.
The authorized person must bring the letter attached to the copies of the RG of both.
5.3 Any complaint about the final result of the competition must be made, in writing, up to thirty minutes after the results are released upon payment of a fee of R $ 200,00, which will be refunded in the event of an error by the organization, and will be analyzed by a committee composed of the race management, athletes and parties involved.

6. PENALTY WITH DECLASSIFICATION

- Send incorrect data when filling out the application.
- Complete the registration form with false information.
- Subscribe to the non-corresponding category.
- Do not wear a helmet during the race.
- Complete the race without the identification number (except for a fall).
- Perform maneuvers or unfair attitudes against other cyclists.
- Change your bike or cyclist.
- Be accompanied by a support team throughout the race.
- Cut a path or do not go through a marked path.
- Hitch a ride during the race.
- Disrupt the work of the organization before, during or after the race and in determining the results.
- Dirty the trails and paths and concentration areas.
- Disrespect any member of the organization.
- Omitted cases will be judged by the race organizing committee.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the registered athlete to check their registration details (age and category entered) in the list published on the website before the start of the race. Incorrect data must be communicated to the organization in writing or email before the start, being subject to disqualification if it competes with incorrect data.

7. SUPPORT

During the course, there will be inspectors whose function is to guide participants on the route, offer support when necessary (if possible), and supervise the passage of participants. There will also be a water supply point (s) along the route, medical assistance during and at the end of the race for competitors.
NOTE: Support will be allowed for team cyclists at a point (s) pre-determined by the organization.

8. BICYCLES AND EQUIPMENT

8.1 Cyclists will be allowed to use only one bicycle to travel the route, regardless of type or model.
8.2 Bicycles will be moved exclusively by the individual strength of the athlete in accordance with the regulations of the International Cycling Union.
8.3 The athlete will be able to proceed on foot, as long as his bicycle is present (loaded, dragged or pushed) by the athlete himself. An athlete separated from his bicycle will be prohibited from proceeding through the race.
8.4 The organization reserves the right to veto any equipment or accessories that it deems unsuitable for use at the event. All equipment that the athlete will use in the race may be checked by the organization moments before the start, and have its use vetoed if it is considered inappropriate or at risk for participation in the event.
8.5 Mandatory equipment: tight-fitting cycling helmet.
8.6 Prohibited equipment: the use of bicycles with electric or assisted power will not be allowed.
8.7 There will be no reimbursement, by the organization, as well as its sponsors and supporters, of any amount corresponding to equipment and/or accessories used by the participants in the event, regardless of the reason, nor for any loss of materials or damage that may occur athletes or participants may suffer while participating in this event;
8.8 The use of headphones, headphones or any other type of sound device is not allowed during the competition.

9. REGISTRATION

The registration is valid, only and exclusively, until the date of the event for which it was acquired. After that date, the registration will no longer be valid.
Registration will not be allowed to extend for 2 consecutive years, for example, from 2018 to 2019, then to 2020

10. CLASSIFICATION

The classification is defined by the order of arrival, the shortest time spent on the course, within the categories in which the athletes are registered

11. CLIMATE CONDITIONS

The race can be postponed in case of bad weather (heavy rain, gale, others), or if it rains in excess during the race week, damaging the circuit and impairing the physical integrity of the participants. It is the participant's responsibility to see the information on our website the day before the race, if there is a change the participant can use his registration for the new date or for the next stage. The new date will be made available within 30 days on our website.

12. HYDRATION AND MECHANICAL SUPPORT

12.1 Throughout the race there will be hydration stations with water.
12.2 No type of support vehicle will be allowed on the course, each athlete being responsible for taking their food, hydration and with their reserve chambers, pump and tool kit for any repairs.
12.3 In one of the hydration points, a basic mechanical support point will be available.
12.4 No external support (hydration or mechanical) will be allowed outside the hydration points, subject to disqualification.

13. SAFETY

13.1 The organization will make available to the participants of the event, an ambulance to provide first aid in case of accidents. If emergency medical care is required, removal will be carried out to the nearest public hospital.
13.2 The security of the race will receive support from the competent bodies and there will be signs to guide the participants, it is up to the athlete to respect the path, not being allowed to take shortcuts or use any auxiliary means to achieve any kind of advantage. Failure to comply with this rule will cause the athlete to be disqualified.
13.3. The race will be held with restricted vehicle traffic, not being completely closed, and the athlete must keep to the right of the track and obey the traffic laws, be attentive to other athletes and be cordial whenever possible with his opponents, organization and public.
13.4 We recommend that all race participants undergo a rigorous and complete medical evaluation prior to participating in the event.
13.5 By participating in this event, the athlete assumes responsibility for their data provided and fully accepts the Rules of the Event, participating of their own free will, being aware of their state of health and assuming the costs of transportation, accommodation, food and insurance or any other expenses necessary or arising from your participation in the race, before, during and after it.
13.6 The competitor is responsible for the decision to participate in the race, assessing his physical condition and performance and judging for himself whether or not to continue throughout the competition. The test director may, at the recommendation of the physician responsible for the event, exclude the participant at any time.

14. IMAGE RIGHT

By participating in this event, each participant is unconditionally accepting and agreeing to have their image published through photos, films, radio, newspapers, magazines, internet and television, or any other means of communication, for informative, promotional or advertising uses related to the event , without placing any burden on the organizers, sponsors or media.

15. FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS

15.1 The race organization as well as its sponsors and supporters are not responsible for losses or damages caused by the athlete registered in the race, to third parties or other participants, and their acts are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the same.
15.2 The accompaniment of athletes by coaches, advisors, friends with bicycles and other means will result in the disqualification of the participant.
15.3 The calculation of results will be through CHIP.
15.4 The doubts or omissions in this Regulation will be resolved by the Organizing Committee in a sovereign manner, with no recourse to these decisions.
