PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC - A mountain bike adventure set amidst a beautiful Swiss mountain scenery

The six-day mountain bike stage race PERSKINDOL SWISS EPIC comprises flowing and challenging single trails that pass magnificent 4,000-meter peaks as they wind through typical Valais landscapes, mountain villages and vineyards. The third edition of this unique race is taking place from 12 to 17 September 2016. Professional and ambitious amateur athletes will be competing in teams of two in five stages from Zermatt to Verbier via Leukerbad. The stage race is a sporting adventure in which participants don't need to worry about luggage transport, accommodation, food or drink, so they can really pour their heart and soul into achieving ultimate mountain bike flow! Nepal's Premier Mountain Biking Race

Yak Ru ® is among few of the toughest staged races in the world. It covers a distance of 240 Kilometers and reaches an altitude of 5416 meters in just 5 cycling days. There will be 5 stages of the race and one rest day in between at a high altitude location to allow better acclimatization before ascending to the 5416 meters Thorong-Las pass. Participants will enjoy two more days of group ride after the competition ends at an altitude of 3700 meters. The group ride along the spectacular semi-desert like terrain of the legendary Mustang valley gives participants a bonus tour opportunity after taking part in the world's toughest mountain biking race. A dip at the hot spring of Tatopani towards the end of the competition will probably be the highlight for many who may earn the tag of 'DNF' despite their best efforts.

Sarcoin Douro Bike Race 2016

One of the most exciting stages of mountain biking in Portugal takes place in the mountains of the North. The motto for the SarCoin Douro Bike Race is set: a lot of adrenaline, competition and focus. It is with this spirit that on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of September DBR athletes will face one of the most important MTB events in Portugal. With an urban prologue and three days of marathon through the imposing mountains of Marão, Alvão and Aboboreira, this year DBR recovers the tracks of the 2012 edition, in honor of the identity of Nexplore - the company where the Douro Bike Race concept was born - and its creator, João Marinho.

The race is divided into different stages. An urban prologue of 6 kilometers, and three marathon journeys of 90, 100 and 70 kilometers:

EPIC - 1,2,3 and 4 September // 260KM Prologue + 3 stages in the atmosphere of the big events. It is the ideal opportunity to have a unique experience, and enjoy four days of epic trails, uphill, downhill, rocks, sun, companionship and MTB at the highest level.

ADVENTURE - September 3rd and 4th // 170KM
Two days of sharing experiences in the SARCOIN DBR village. Two days of mountain biking adventure that you won't want to miss.

RIDE - September 4 // 70KM
The opportunity to have the best sensations of a Sarcoin DBR stage in a single day.
With medium-high physical and technical difficulty and a dynamic, competitive and aggressive personality, DBR has been working since 2009 with a successful formula, representing a demanding sporting challenge. As in other stages, the event is based on a “Douro Bike Race village”, where athletes can find the complicity of a STAFF team that will be ready to recreate an energetic and revitalizing environment for all who pass by. .
